The difference

Checked, not just scraped.

Anybody can pull event pages off the internet and drop them on a map. That's how you end up driving to a show that moved three weeks ago.

01

A person reads every listing

Events come in automatically from a wide net of sources, then a human checks the date, the venue and the details before it reaches your map.

02

If a show moves, the listing moves

Dates get changed, shows get cancelled, venues change lots. Update it once and everyone's map is right — including directions.

03

You can see where it came from

Every event carries its source — organizer, club, flyer, or community post — so you know how much weight to give it.

04

Weekly cruises handled properly

Woodward Wednesday, Cars & Coffee on Sunday morning — recurring shows show their next date, not last season's.

Spectators in lawn chairs and umbrellas on the grass at Woodward and Sheffield, watching cars roll by on the boulevard.
Real cruise nights. Not stock photos.
A row of classic cars with their hoods up in a show lot: a red Chevelle SS in front, purple Mopars behind.
A black Studebaker Avanti with wire wheels, parked in front of a yellow biplane at an airfield show.
A silver Ford GT and a red Mustang Shelby parked side by side in front of a brick storefront.
The app

One map, one list, no rabbit holes.

No digging through Facebook groups, no dead forum threads from 2019. Open it, and the shows around you are there.

Where it works

Detroit first, by design.

We'd rather know one city properly than pretend to know fifty. This is the deepest Detroit-area coverage we can build, then the next metros.

● Live now

Metro Detroit

Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties — Woodward, Gratiot, Telegraph, Hines Drive.

● Live now

Chicago

Bringing the same treatment to the Chicago area's shows and cruises.

Questions

Good to know.

Email support@classiccarshowfinder.com and a person answers.

When can I get it?

It isn't in the App Store yet. We're finishing the last of the fixes and the store listing, and we'll say so on the Metro Detroit Cruise Nights page the day it goes live. To be first, add a show or email us and we'll keep you posted.

Is it actually free?

Yes. Finding shows, reading details, directions, saving favourites and leaving reviews are all free. Pit Pass is optional — $4.99 a month or $36 a year — and removes the ads, unlocks the dark radar theme and gives you unlimited garage photos.

How do you keep the list current?

Events are gathered automatically from a wide set of sources every day, then checked by a person before they appear. If a show is cancelled or moves, the listing is updated so nobody drives out for nothing.

Do I need an account?

The free tier covers everything you need to find and attend a show. An account is what lets you save shows, mark yourself Going, build your garage and post reviews.

How do I add my show?

Use the event submission form — it's free, and it takes a couple of minutes. You can also email events@classiccarshowfinder.com.

What about Android?

iPhone first. Android comes after launch — the app is built with a shared codebase, so it isn't a rewrite.

What happens to my data?

Your location is used to sort shows by distance. Read the privacy policy for the whole picture — including how to delete your account and everything in it.
